Karnataka government has kickstarted the search for Bengaluru’s second airport site by inviting bids for a detailed feasibility study on three locations: Chudahalli-Somanahalli near Kanakapura Road and Nelamangala on Tumakuru Road, each with ~4,500 acres. KSIIDC will appoint a consultant for strategic-technical assessment following AAI’s initial review.
