Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri announced on Monday that India has finalized a significant new agreement to import liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from the United States as part of its strategy to strengthen the country’s energy security. He noted that India has been steadily expanding and diversifying its LPG supply sources.
