Actor Kamal Haasan recently expressed pride and emotional fulfillment upon becoming a Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament at age 71, which he considers the government job his late mother dreamt of for him. A school dropout, Kamal recalled how his mother wished he had passed at least the SSLC exam to get a government railways job.
