India and the European Union have finalised a landmark Free Trade Agreement, sharply reducing car import tariffs from 110% to 10% under an annual quota of 250,000 vehicles. The pact strengthens bilateral trade worth over $190 billion and removes or lowers duties on more than 90% of EU exports to India. The deal is expected to boost investment, expand trade and reshape India’s auto market.
