Indian Railways has introduced extensions to the exclusive online booking window for Aadhaar-authenticated IRCTC users on the Advance Reservation Period (ARP) opening day, 8:00 AM–12:00 AM (16 hours) by January 12, 2026.
IRCTC Tatkal bookings open at 10 AM for AC classes and 11 AM for non-AC classes, one day before departure, with extra charges applied based on class and distance.
