Apple is advancing plans to launch Apple Pay in India by mid-2026 through discussions with ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Visa, and Mastercard. The service will integrate India’s dominant UPI system with card-based payments, using Face ID or Touch ID for secure tap-to-pay transactions.
