Prabhakar Prasad, known as the “Chaiguy” or “Bihari Chaiwala,” an IIT alumnus from Bihar who was hit by tech layoffs in February 2025. Originally from Barh near Patna, he pursued an MBA in the US in 2014 and shifted to selling authentic Indian chai for $8 (about ₹780) on Los Angeles streets after his corporate job loss.
