Providing relief to two Chennai residents, a consumer court directed Bhoomi & Buildings Pvt Ltd to pay Rs 8.5 lakh each as compensation for the excessive delay in redeveloping their Nungambakkam property into apartments. Additionally, the builder was ordered to pay Rs 30,000 each to the complainants for deficiency in service.
